#MDMC Annual Scholarship

MCMC Undergraduate Scholarship in Marketing:

The Midwest Digital Marketing Conference (MDMC) Undergraduate Scholarship provides an opportunity for those studying marketing at the university to further their career expertise. Awards not to exceed $5,000.

MDMC was founded by alumnus Dr. Perry D. Drake, a professor in the College of Business Administration, in 2013. The conference began as a small half-day event in the J.C. Penny Conference Center at the University of Missouri-St. Louis for digital and social media marketing industry professionals and featured approximately 10 guest speakers. In the spring of 2018, when this scholarship was established, the conference had grown to a three-day event featuring over 100 speakers from industry titans including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google, Under Armour, Purina, and more. Attendance as of 2018 exceeded 1,725 (more than triple the attendance since 2013). As the conference began to generate revenue for the College of Business Administration, the scholarship was established as a means to support students.
