Adam Aronson Annual Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Adam Aronson, who was the founder and Chairman of Mark Twain Bancshares, which is now part of US Bank. He was one of the most innovative bankers of his time, utilizing his marketing skills from two previous business careers, and he was among the first bankers in the country to hire MBAs. He was also a major supporter of the arts in St. Louis. This scholarship is to provide funds for a bright hardworking student who demonstrates financial need.

Scholarship Criteria

  1. Recipient must be an incoming freshman enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences.
  2. Recipient must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester at UMSL (full-time enrollment).
  3. Candidates must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need.
  4. Scholarship can be renewed, provided recipient maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and continues to demonstrate financial need.
