Gateway to CyberCity Annual Scholarship

The Gateway to CyberCity Scholarship is established to encourage and inspire deserving students regardless of race, creed, gender , orientation or national origin, to pursue academic studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the field of Cyber Security.

The Society of Information Management (SIM) is a national professional network that connects senior-level IT leaders with peers in their communities. The Security Advisory Alliance is a network of CISOs and Senior Leaders at the most influential companies in the world, with over 400 members on three continents. The St. Louis Regional Chamber traces its roots to 1836 as one of the oldest Chambers of Commerce in the U.S., and is driven by one overriding purpose-to inspire a greater St. Louis.

In 2016, the St. Louis Chapter of SIM, the Security Advisor Alliance, and the St. Louis Regional Chamber founded the Gateway to Cyber City Conference to foster growth in the IT Cyber Security industry in the St. Louis region.
Scholarship Criteria
#Candidate will be enrolled at the University of Missouri-ST. Louis in the Cojllege of Business Administration pursuing academic studies in Cyber Security.
#Candidate will have a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.8.

  1. Applicants will demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office and completed reporting as required on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
    #Applicant(S) who receive this award will be enrolled as members of the Society of Information Management (SIM)
    #This scholarship may have mentoring opportunities attached to it.
    #This scholarship may be renewable if recipient maintains a GPA of 2.8 and remains in good standing in the College of Business Administration.
