German Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria

1. Candidates will be undergraduate students at UMSL who are majoring or minoring in German.
2. Current UMSL students must hold a GPA of 3.0 in German and a 2.5 overall. In addition, they must have completed four courses in German on the UMSL campus.
3. Incoming freshmen must have an ACT Composite Score of 23 or better (or the SAT equivalent) and a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to students who have completed at least one college-level German course while in high school.
4. Incoming transfer students must have a transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher and transfer a minimum of 24 credit hours. Preference will be given to students who have completed a minimum of three German courses or the equivalent of German 2101 prior to beginning at UMSL.
