John and Bina Jo Walters Music Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria

1. Students must be currently enrolled at UMSL and beginning their senior year in the Music Department.
2. Recipients shall demonstrate academic achievement as reflected in the recipient’s cumulative grade point average, leadership in ensembles and other Music Department organizations, and by the acceptance of student responsibility and involvement in community activities.
3. Selection shall be made by the music faculty based on applications submitted by students and must include an essay indicating post-graduate plans and the potential impact of the award on the fulfillment of their plans.
