Whitney R. Harris World Ecology Center Promise & Opportunity Scholarship

1. Recipients shall be undergraduate biology majors with the necessary credit hours to be classified as a Junior for the initial award.
2. Recipients shall have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
3. Recipients shall submit a 250 word essay on the importance of conserving nature.
4. Recipients must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need.
5. The award shall be renewed for the recipient’s Senior year so long as they maintain the above criteria. Should a recipient become ineligible for the award, Student Financial Aid will consult with the Whitney R. Harris World Ecology Executive Committee on the selection of an alternate recipient.
