Amanda Cates Memorial Scholarship
Amanda Cates was a dedicated, four year veteran of the Normandy Police Department and worked as a school resource officer for Normandy Middle School. Her enthusiasm and love for the children that she went to work to protect made her a beloved mentor and role model; she always took the opportunity to let students know how important it was to stay in school and get a good education. Amanda’s life was tragically cut short on August 29, 2006.
