Lawrence Barton Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria

1. Candidates will be undergraduate Chemistry majors at UMSL.
2. Preference will be given to juniors.
3. Preference will be given to first-generation college students.
4. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined on theFree Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
5. Recipients will demonstrate academic success through their GPAs, as well as through faculty input and a demonstrated interest in Chemistry.
6. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours at UMSL each semester.
