GAST SCHOLARSHIP IN MUSIC

Preference will be given to:
a. a full time incoming freshman student (12 hour minimum) with an interest in pursuing a degree in Music at UMSL and either a minimum ACT score of 24 or a high school GPA of 2.8; OR

a full time undergraduate student (12 hour minimum) with a declared major in Music at UMSL and overall GPA of 2.8 or better and a Music GPA of 2.8 or better.

In the event that no student qualifies according to 2.a. or 2.b., then a student in the College of Arts and Sciences may qualify for the award and must be either
a. a full time incoming freshman student (12 hour minimum) with either a minimum ACT score of 24 or a high school GPA of 2.8, OR

a full time undergraduate student (12 hour minimum) with an overall GPA of 2.8 or better.

Scholarship is renewable if the student maintains a GPA of 2.8.

Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
