Jung-Anderson Scholarship (in the Pierre Laclede Honors College)

The Jung-Anderson Scholarship is a merit award for students whose academic record suggests high potential for graduating from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with distinction through the generosity of Richard K. Jung, Ed.D. (BA English 1971) and his wife Janice Anderson, Ph.D.

Scholarship Criteria
#Recipient must be a full-time student (12 hours at UMSL each semester) who is in good standing in the Pierre Laclede Honors College at UMSL.
#Preference will be given to an incoming freshman, but may be awarded to sophomores and juniors.
#Preference will also be given to student who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit.

  1. The recipient will be selected based on academic merit (GPA, class rank, ACT or SAT scores)
  2. In the event of a tie, the award will be based on financial need. As such, applicants are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
