Scholarship Criteria
a. Scholarships will be awarded to two (2) students enrolled in the Geographic Sciences Certificate Program at UMSL per academic year (inclusive of fall and spring semesters).
b. Preference will be given to students with at least a 3.0 GPA for those students currently enrolled at UMSL; there is no GPA requirement for newly enrolled students.
c. Preference will be given to students currently employed in technology or geospatial workforces.
d. Preference will be given to those students who are employed in leadership or managerial roles.
e. Preference will be given to students who have active US security clearances.
f. Should the University be unable to identify a student who meets all of the criteria stated herein, an award will be made to a student who most closely fits the above criteria.
