Purdy Emerging Leaders Scholarship

The Purdy Emerging Leaders Scholarship from the Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation is named after Allan Walker Purdy. This program provides merit-based scholarships to emerging leaders who are outstanding students and who have the need for additional resources for higher education.

Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of academic performance, leadership potential, and character. Selected students will be those who have a vision, are eager to make their contribution to the world, and have the work ethic to bring their dreams to fruition. Unmet financial need will also be considered as scholarship funds are intended to be used for tuition, fees, and course-related expenses, including books, supplies and equipment.

Eligibility

Award recipients will be notified in mid-July.
